Event Porta Potty Calculator

To estimate the number of restrooms needed for your event, determine the total duration of your event. For multi-day events, use the longest single day. Next, calculate the guest count, considering the highest attendance day if applicable. Refer to the chart to determine the required number of portable restrooms.

Note: If alcohol will be served, plan for 15-20% additional restrooms. Include one Handicap Accessible Restroom per 20 portable restrooms or at least one for public events. Ensure proper handwashing facilities are available in all food service areas. A minimum of one handwash station should be added for every four portable restrooms.

To calculate the number of restrooms needed for your jobsite, identify the number of shifts and the size of your workforce, especially during peak times. Use the chart to determine the restroom requirements for your project.

Note: Each restroom accommodates up to 10 workers during a standard 40-hour workweek.
